Sexual Health

The Wolverton Centre for Sexual Health is a branch of Kingston Hospital.

It offers;

  • All forms contraception (including emergency contraception).

  • Cervical screening exams.

  • Tests and treatment for STI's.

  • Support services following sexual assault. 

The Wolverton centre often has shorter waiting time then Canbury Medical Centre and can offer a wider range of sexual health services.

The Wolverton Sexual Health service are launching a new walk-in service for young people aged 21 and under. This service will include:

·  Advice about sex, relationships and abuse

·  Pregnancy testing and advice

·  Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) testing with or without symptoms

·  Contraception, emergency contraception (to prevent pregnancy), free condoms and abortion advice

·  HIV support including PrEP and PEP (pre and post-exposure prophylaxis)
